Brooke Davis

Brooke Davis has worked in Sacramento radio her whole life. She started out doing voiceovers and interning at the legendary Sacramento rock station, KZAP (just two buildings down the street from The Zone). She got her first paid gig in the same building as KZAP, after it sold and a jazz station moved into the building. She's worked at various stations in the market since as a dj, news anchor, and traffic reporter, as well as a couple of years with Keith Brooks doing afternoons at what was then an 80's station as his sidekick. After working at country, news, jazz, and 80's stations, she's thrilled to finally play music that truly rocks.

Hey! Thanks for listening to 100.5 ZONE, my name is Christopher Rey and you can catch me most Sunday nights from 5 to 10pm!

I'm a Northern California native, spending most of time up and down the coast, but recently moved to Sacramento about a year ago. I love every minute of it and the fact that we're so close to the snow in the winter time is a definite bonus. And if I ever need to get my water front fix, I just head to the river. We're also home to one of the best baseball team's out there, Go River Cats!

What’s happening fellow Zonies?  Thank you so very much for tuning in to our station.  I know, I know… it’s easy since we play the best music around, and our jocks are top notch.  But still, thank you for doing so.

Here’s a little bit about me.  I was born and raised in the Carmichael area, and since the days of “Mr. Microphone” I have wanted to be on radio.  I got my first start back in 1996 at a college radio station were I quickly became the most popular program there.  After that, I ran my own internet radio station, and had several other shows here or there.  In 2002 I came over to The Zone where I worked my way up from Promotions Intern to the Weekend Warrior that you hear today.

I have an amazing wife Alicia, and we are expecting our first child later in 2008.  Crazy times for sure, but I love every minute of it.
