Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. HOW TO ENTER

a. The Cinemark contest will begin on Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 6:00 am PT and end on Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 10:00 am PT.

b. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s): Listen to KZZO (“Station”) on April 18th, 2008 between 6:00 am PT and 9:00 am PT for the on-air talent to announce the cue to call. After the cue to call is announced, the 100th caller to get through to the Station’s contest line at 916-766-1005 will win a prize, subject to confirmation of eligibility. At the time of their call, all winning callers will be required to provide their first and last name, complete address including zip code, telephone number, and date of birth. The cue to call will be announced one (1) time each day during the Contest Period and up to one (1) winner will be selected during the Contest Period.

c. The Station is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call.

d. There is no limit to the number of times a listener may attempt to call in to win, but a listener may only win once during the Contest Period.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a. The contest is open to all KZZO listeners who are 18 years of age or older and who legally reside in the greater Sacramento metropolitan area. Employees of KZZO (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Sacramento metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families or households are ineligible to participate or win.

b. Listeners are eligible to win a Station contest only once every thirty days and a prize valued at $600 or more only once every six months. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.

3. PRIZES

a. One (1) prize will be awarded. The prize consists of a family four pack of tickets to Cinemark Theaters. ARV: $ 39.00. Tickets valid for any movie, any time. No cash value or exchanges. Each ticket admits one person. Not valid with any other coupon or special offer. Expires 1/31/09. Tickets are void if copied. Tickets can be used at the following Century Theaters: Century 16 Greenback Lane located on 6233 Garfield Ave., Sacramento, CA, 95841; Century Downtown Plaza 7 located at 445 Downtown Plaza, Sacramento, CA, 95814; Century Stadium 14 located at 1590 Ethan Way, Sacramento, CA, 95825; and Century Roseville 14 located at 1555 Eureka Rd., Roseville, CA, 95661.

b. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below.  The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed by Monday, May 19th, 2008 at 5:30 pm PT.  In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss.  The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash.  The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses.  Other restrictions may apply.

4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

a. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.

b. Up to one (1) winner will be selected as described in Section 1.b. of these rules.

c. Odds of becoming a winner depend on the number and order of calls received.

d. Contestants must listen to win.

e. Winners must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form by Monday, May 19th, 2008 at 5:30 pm PT or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will not be chosen.

5. CONDITIONS

a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.  Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. 

c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

d. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

e. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.

f. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

g. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KZZO, 280 Commerce Circle, Sacramento, CA, 95815.
